Sun Joe is a well-known brand and a leading manufacturer of residential pressure washers, with dozens of models to satisfy all your cleaning needs. I’m going provide an unbiased Sun Joe SPX3000 review since this is one of their best selling units.
I’ll test this pressure washer, share my opinion which will include the pros and cons, as well as as much information about this power washer as I can to ensure that you have everything you need to come to a decision about whether or not you want to buy this model.

Sun Joe SPX3000 in The Field
The SunJoe SPX 3000 electric pressure washer is a fantastic cleaning unit that provides 2030 pounds per square inch (PSI) at 1.76 gallons per minute (GPM) water flow rate.
This gives you a total cleaning power of 3573, while that’s not the biggest number I’ve come across, it’s still very impressive for such a portable pressure washer.
I’ve taken this pressure washer and put it to the test, I’ve through various surfaces at it and I was pleasantly surprised by its versatility.
I love this unit’s beautiful and modern design, due to its weight, coming in at just 31 pounds, this could sit happily alongside the light-duty compact units. But this is a medium-duty machine, it’s amazing how Sun Joe has crammed so much power into such a compact unit.
When you purchase this pressure washer, the equipment you get on top of the pressure washer is impressive, I mean it’s not often that a pressure washers accessories include a 34-inch extension wand as standard.
If you’ve got difficult-to-reach areas, such as cleaning your home’s siding, then this unit has you covered.
You also get a quick selection dial, which allows you to choose between the dual detergent tanks each can hold 0.9 liters, this means that in one tank you can keep the best pressure washer detergent at hand, ready for those tough stains, and in the other tank you can fill it with some of the best pressure washer soap for that eco-friendly cleaning. I really like that feature, having the ability to store 2 separate cleaning agents and change between them in a single click is a huge bonus for me.
You don’t have to worry about turning this machine off the second you stop using the spray wand, Sun Joe has a system where if the pump is running, but you don’t pressure the trigger, the pump is automatically shut off. Or rather the second you stop using the trigger, the Total Stop System (TSS) immediately turns off the pump to prolong the pressure washer pumps life and also save you money by not wasting electricity.
You get a full set of 5 quick connect pressure washer nozzle tips included as standard with this pressure washer, those tips are the 0-degree red nozzle, 15-degree yellow nozzle, 25-degree green nozzle, 40-degree white nozzle, and the 65-degree black soaping nozzle.
All of which can be stored onboard the pressure washer, so you don’t have to worry about misplacing them.
You also get a 20 foot-long high-pressure hose with this unit. This Sun Joe pressure washer, also coms with a garden hose adapter on the front of the unit. When you receive this unit, be aware that there is some light assembly required. Luckily there is a detailed instruction manual included with the pressure washer.
When the unit is assembled you can immediately start cleaning, as this product comes with everything you might need.
I mentioned that this is a light pressure washer, so apart from being easy to carry around, it also comes with 2 large rear wheels that can tackle any terrain I threw at them.
You also get a very long 35 foot power cord, so you can cover a large area in one go.
Warranty Policy
Sun Joe is a brand that really wants to maintain a good customer relationship. Have a missing part? they’ll fall over themselves to send it to you. Mind you make sure you check the package when it’s delivered.
The warranty on this specific pressure washer is 2 years! That’s amazing, but it goes to show how much Sun Joe believes in their products.

This is a medium-duty pressure so you will easily get rid of dirt, grime, mildew, tar, oil, moss, and even rust.
As the seasons move on, you end up with pine cone needles everywhere, I love using this to get rid of those. I also used this to clean my car, bicycle, trailer, mower, bbq grill, stairs, patio, concrete, house vinyl siding (though I used one of the best vinyl siding cleaners)
No matter the surface I threw at this pressure washer it cleaned it, as this is a medium-duty pressure washer, it’s perfect for cleaning and doing wood maintenance. So siding, shutter’s patio furniture and more.
I even hooked this up to a pressure washer sandblasting kit and prepped some surfaces for paint, it did a fantastic job.

Your cleaning needs are going to differ from mine, it’s a fact, from person to person our needs will all be slightly different. I was incredibly happy with the results that this pressure washer provided, that said a more powerful pressure washer would have performed some of the cleaning tasks faster.
If you are after a versatile unit that will keep the outside of your home and your yard clean, that typical occasional, once or twice a week use, then this is the perfect solution. When you consider that renting a pressure washer can amount to $100 a day, for me, it’s clear that your money is better invested in getting your own electric pressure washer.
